Wow, more than 3 months are gone. I need to be honest, it feels like I've been here for 3 years. Everyday is like doubled with the amount of work that we have at the New York Film Academy, and I love it sooo much! :)
Let me show you some of the things I did as Director of Photography!
(Some of them can be watched on YT, others are still work in progress for my Cinematogrphy-video reel :D )
"Limbo", short film directed by Sukriti Chaudhari, starring Roshana Harmon (not available on YT yet).
I'm super excited about all these projects! Having more and more fun, "positive" stress and learning so much.
After 3 months, I feel my new friends not only as a real crew, but also as a new familiy.
What about cinematography? Yes I think I'm loving it more then directing (I'll show you the projects I've directed, I promise). It's just that when someone wants to create a story, the first thing I think is "Oh, me! Me! Let me shoot it for you!" :D
Because playing with the light, with the camera movements, with the visual storytelling is SO. EXCITING. I literally feel like a kid in a candy shop, it's the most beautiful feeling.
So, after three months, I'm so confused: what do I want to become? A cinematographer? A director?
Mhhhh... maybe... I would say...
Oh, well. Ok. For now, I just gonna be both.
